The lines at Tim Ho Wan in New York have died down
The lines at Tim Ho Wan in New York have died down. Our wait for two on a Sunday evening was about an hour, which isn’t too bad. I would never wait more than 3 hours for dim sum here, though, I would just go to Dim Sum Go Go. Things to get – obviously the famous BBQ pork buns (although the ones in Hong Kong are better), the congee, sui mai, the shrimp dumplings and the shrimp rice roll.

Even an hour sounds like too long! Was it worth an hour’s wait?
It was worth it to me, because I live in the area. so basically i ran a quick errand and then the time passed quickly. but if i just had to wait at the restaurant the whole time, i would have gone home
The chicken and mushroom rice pots are good
I’ll have to try that next time!
